They commenced 2021 with excitement and gratitude, as Vixens of Fall were finalists in the Country category at the Queensland Music Awards and were the proud recipients of an ICMA – Independent Country Music Awards “Most Popular Independent Country Music Band 2021”. Further adding to their recognition as an emerging Country Talent they added to their accumulation of blessings, by taking out their second Independent Country Music Awards “Most Popular Independent Country Music Band 2023” and have already been named as finalists in 2024. They have had the privilege of appearing with several well established country icons such as Beccy Cole, Melody Moko, Gina Jeffreys, Gina Timms and the Wolfe Brothers.
2022 saw them appear at several Country Music festivals such as the Music in the Mulga Festival, The Tamworth Country Music Festival, the iconic Gympie Muster and the Mount Isa Rodeo Festival. These three ladies have such a sassy disposition about them that audiences are enchanted by the sultry smiles, electric stage presence and the Boho Style that draw them in and make them dance through their strong country rock vibe. Their original songs quite obviously come from a place of passion and experience and connect deeply with their audience because as one iconic country music artist said, “the girls just wanna be them and the boys just wanna see them.”
The Vixens promise that 2023 will be a continued year of growth and amazing new songs to come! and have again been named as finalists for 2024. Their much-heralded debut Album is to be released in May 2023 and it will reflect the sultry country rock ethos that runs deep within the veins of Vixens or Fall. So let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a piece of that? Vixens continue to impress audiences throughout Australia with one of the most dynamic “LIVE” country acts to be seen.
